Seasonal Food & Wine Pairings:
Fall is here!

Elements of Taste will be sharing favorite seasonal food and wine pairings from our special friends of expertise in the food world. Check back for regular favorite choices for your enjoyment!

Fall in the Wine Country means HARVEST: Last of the tomatoes, many varieties of squashes, pumpkins, apples, pears and grapes ! As a wine to partner with these and other Fall flavors, Elements of Taste recommends Sauvignon Republic’s Sauvignon Blanc from the Russian River in Sonoma County. It’s a fun wine that’s very food-friendly! Try it with the Green Olive-Artichoke Tapenade. It’s amazing! The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is wonderful paired with Fall’s musky flavors.

For additional fun seasonal pairings and ideas, visit Wine Country
authority and chef John Ash’s web site.

One of our great local Sonoma valley wine producers is Castle Vineyards. Their Rhone varietals are really yummy with Fall foods. Try their Sonoma Valley Syrah!
